The Sailor Moon R art begins today! I have mixed feelings about R as a season. On the whole, it's my least favorite of all of the seasons, though I am very fond of the Makaiju arc. It's the Black Moon arc (the "proper" story which accounts for most of the season) that I don't particularly like. It still has its moments, but a lot of the time it just seems humorless and uninspired, and I can't say I have much time for the villains either. SuperS is the season that gets the most criticism from the fandom at large, but I'd take a randomly-selected SuperS episode over almost any episode of R's main arc. So, sorry for sounding negative, but my R-

And so, with 125 chibis uploaded, I've completed Sailor Moon's first season! So what's next? Well, Sailor Moon R. I'll be taking a week off from uploading new chibis, in part to build up my backlog again, and you'll be able to see the first of Sailor Moon R's characters on the 21st of January (or maybe the morning of the 22nd depending on where you live). But there'll still be things to see next week too! What things? Well, you'll have to wait to find out...

Due to house-moving issues, I don't have proper internet access right now, and won't be able to update until some time next week. However, I'll be posting all of the updates I would have posted during the downtime once I have internet again. Current backlog status: Characters up to the end of episode 21 are completed; characters up to episode 31 are inked and awaiting scanning, cleanup and coloring.
