First appearance: Episode 35 (よみがえる記憶! うさぎと衛の過去/Memories Return! Usagi and Mamoru's Past)

Endymion was a prince of Earth during the time of the Silver Millennium, and the lover of Princess Serenity. He came to the Moon to give advance warning of the Dark Kingdom's attack, but the warning came too late and he was killed along with Serenity and her guardians. Queen Serenity used the Silver Crystal to engineer his reincarnation on Earth in the distant future, and he was eventually reborn as Mamoru Chiba.
Oddly, we mainly see Endymion being (sort of) evil, because as soon as Mamoru regains the memories of his past life, he's abducted by the Dark Kingdom and made into a minion. He quickly becomes Beryl's favorite and pretty much does as he pleases, routinely aborting missions to avoid harming Sailor Moon and outright interfering in Kunzite's operations. He later becomes good again, of course, but I think it's interesting to have an ostensibly good character hanging around with the bad guys for most of his screen time.
Endymion's armor gave me some trouble in the early stages of this chibi, but in the end, I think it turned out pretty well. Right now that's two out of three depictions of Mamoru where he's scowling...

He also appeared in the R Movie, in what I have to say was a very cool visual moment: as an asteroid plummets to Earth, Usagi (as Sailor Moon), badly hurt in the preceding battle, manages to tug herself upright from sprawled on the ground up into a kneeling position, as the silver crystal, that good old plot device, starts to glow. Against her friend's typical "but you'll die! (again!)" warnings, She goes ahead, transforming into Princess Serenity and trying to use the crystal's power to stop the asteroid collision.
And Mamoru (as Tuxedo Mask), himself already impaled (again) earlier in this movie, he hobbles over, plants himself on the ground next to her, and holds her up and holds her hand steady, transforming into his Prince Endymion regalia.
Not the deepest plot Sailor Moon ever saw, but it's a pretty darn awesome scene, visually speaking.
