Sailor Moon Season 1 Wallpaper

Now here we have all of the same characters as last time, but displayed in a different way! This is the desktop wallpaper version, and as relatively easy as the last one was to make, this one was a pain in the arse. First, I discovered for the first time that Paint Shop Pro 7 limits you to 100 layers. This was probably perfectly reasonable back in the olden days: the first computer I ran that program on would have melted had I tried to make an image of this complexity. But now I'm running it on a mid-range laptop with a video on in the background and a dozen internet tabs open, and I want more damn it.

Anyway, I think the final product ended up looking pretty nice, though I wish I'd been able to think of something better to do with the background. It does make kind of a neat wallpaper overall, though.

The linked .zip file includes four different versions corresponding to the most common aspect ratios in use at the moment: it's not all 1024x800 anymore, which I think was the commonest the last time I was trying to make wallpaper.

I've also included both .png and .jpg versions. Why .jpg? Because newer versions of Windows will, depending on your settings, inexplicably convert the nice .png you want to use as wallpaper into a crappy artifacted .jpg. Nice! But simply using a high-quality .jpg in the first place prevents this, so there you go.
