#146: Seiren

Seiren was a flying, mermaid-like Cardian, released by Ail and An at the TA Culture Festival to harvest energy from the audience and performers. Seiren scattered gold flakes on the crowd to drain their energy, then attacked the current performer, Rei, with her hair, which could extend to form gripping hands that also leeched energy. The Sailor Senshi intervened, and the furious Sailor Mars discovered a new attack, Fire Soul Bird, which crippled the monster, and Sailor Moon killed the Cardian with Moon Princess Halation.

No, not that Seiren. This one. I tend to use concept art as a basis for these chibis when it's available, but this is one case where a design ended up varying quite a bit from the version that appeared in the show, so this Cardian had a number of last-minute alterations made to it.
